CROWBAR: New Studio Album On The Way
January 7, 2003New Orleans sludge meisters CROWBAR, who feature in their ranks DOWN guitarist Kirk Windstein, have commenced the songwriting process for their seventh studio album, tentatively due at the end of the year.
"[The album will be recorded] as soon as I write it," Windstein said in a posting on the official DOWN message board. "I'm working on it right now. I haven't written anything for CROWBAR in quite awhile, so I [am] full of good ideas at the moment."
CROWBAR's last studio album, "Sonic Excess In Its Purest Form", was released in 2001 through Spitfire Records. Windstein, who married his longtime girlfriend Nicole in October, is expecting his first child in the spring.
